Presiding from the corner of Oneida and Keith St since 1926, this frame vernacular house enjoys the quintessential front porch and a surprisingly modern floor plan. Simple original woodwork is happily intact throughout the house and there are wonderful classic details. Central staircase splits the house with living and dining rooms on the right. Columned opening with built-in cabinets separates the two rooms and owners used the old lath to create a wooden wall. A smart repurposing of materials, it makes for a unique and lovely architectural touch. Dining room opens to the kitchen and family room. The circular flow downstairs makes daily life and entertaining equally easy and there are many places for friends to gather round.

Breakfast bar divides the kitchen from family room so you can cook with abandon and keep it out of sight. Double doors open to the Florida room which enjoys east and south exposures along with a door back to the front porch. First full bath is off the kitchen and boasts a real steam shower! Owners have loved living downtown in an historic house. Using the bricks from the old chimney, they paved the driveway in order to give the old bricks a new life.
