Presiding from its corner location for at least 127 years, 102 Bridge Street has enjoyed a rich history and numerous uses over the decades. In the late 1890s it was the home of Dr William F Shine and his wife, a great granddaughter of Thomas Jefferson. Mrs Shine organized the Maria Jefferson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution which still thrives today.
