Craving an island vacation home? Easy weekender for you and/or paying guests? This concrete block 1950s ranch is ripe for you to put your personal stamp on it. Galley kitchen measures just under 21′ in length – ample area to create just what you want and still have room for a little micro office by the door to the garage.

Both bedrooms are off a short hall by the dining room. Oak floors continue through this part of the house and the bedrooms share the hall bath. All the windows in the house (not enclosed porch) have been replaced in recent years and each room enjoys wonderful natural light. Kitchen opens to an enclosed back porch so get creative with this flex space which also has a large storage closet within easy reach.

Deep backyard is a sunny spot waiting to host whatever outdoor recreation you desire. There’s a 13′ x 13′ patio that’s partly under roof for shade lovers and another under the canopy of a magnolia tree. Bonus is the alleyway behind the backyard – you can bring your boat directly into the back using this access.

Single car garage is extra deep with a laundry room by the door from the kitchen. Garage has crazy overhead storage courtesy of a very high ceiling – excellent for storing your boards. 2021 saw a new metal roof installed, new HVAC (inside and out) and new plumbing so the boring heavy lifting is all done.

Get your bikes in order so you can explore the eateries, brewery, cocktail lounge and some cool indie retail along Anastasia Boulevard. You’re close to the finest beach at Anastasia State Park where you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard and play in the ocean. On Saturdays, hook up your bike basket and ride over to the Amp where the Farmer’s Market will feed you wonderfully all week and the music of the Free Rangers will make you smile all the way home. Amp hosts some serious talent so check out the list of concerts coming up. Life is good on the island – enjoy every minute.
