Conveniently Located Cottage

With an easy to get anywhere location (think beach, all the cool places downtown and employment hubs), this concrete block cottage has a low-key vibe and some serious style. Saltillo tile in the entry portico has a warm patina complementing the white exterior. Step inside where diffused natural light illuminates the gathering area unfolding before you.

Living, dining and kitchen are one open space so staying connected is easy. There’s a natural spot for your media setup with ample room for a couple of seating areas for watching movies with your friends. Plenty of space for a dining table in the center of the room and the kitchen configuration could accommodate a large island if you needed more work area. Extending along two walls, there’s an abundance of cabinets and counterspace here.

Both bedrooms are tucked off a short hallway and share an updated bathroom. It doesn’t stop here though – just behind the kitchen there’s an office/overflow guest room and a family room along the back of the house. Stack washer/dryer live here too and are tucked into a closet. Sunshine floods the office and second gathering room courtesy of a wall of windows overlooking the backyard.

The driveway in front extends to the back once you clear the fence – use as patio or a place to store your boat or other water toys. Huge wooden deck runs along the back of the house creating an outdoor living and dining area for most of the year. Patio with firepit is tucked in one corner and the workshop is in the other. In between there’s a lot of greenspace for outdoor play, for your pup and you can get your garden on if your thumb is green.
