Craving the coolness of the ocean, a sea breeze and sand between your toes? Clad in soft colors pleasing to the eye, it is complemented by the endless blue ocean on the horizon. Inside the living is casual – just what you want at the beach. Tiled floors are cool on bare feet and neutral colors keep it simple. An open plan makes for easy flow in and out to 400SF deck and patio. A generous common area has ample room for furniture and you can enjoy the fireplace (needs to be relined!) on cooler nights. Up a step and the eat-in kitchen offers plenty of storage, including a “butler’s pantry” wall of cabinets, and island with seating bar.

En-suite, the master is off the kitchen. A large room looking out to the ocean, it has a walk-in closet and small bathroom with shower. Adjacent to the deck, you can be on the beach in just a few steps. With a split plan for privacy, the guest room and hall bath are off the living room. Large windows look over the beach and patio so guests can watch the sunrise from bed. With a jetted tub and separate shower, the bathroom has abundant storage for linens.

The single car garage was finished, conditioned and turned into an overflow bunk room for the kids to sleep after a hard day at play. Use as needed – it’s handy space. Laundry room keeps cleaning supplies out of sight but within reach.

Truth be told, the living will be outdoors most of the year. A short stair takes you down to the sand and the outdoor shower will be welcome. Start and end your day with a walk through the surf and in between check out the eateries on Vilano Road, cross the bridge to explore historic downtown or watch the sunset from your front yard – nice!
