First you notice the antique knee wall separating the front yard from the sidewalk and how it curves around (how did they do that back then?). Then you spot the palm tree carved in the wooden gate and finally your eye is drawn upwards to the wonderful porch with cast concrete columns and ornate capitals. Embracing the front of the cottage, this outdoor living room will be enjoyed almost year round and the deep overhang of the metal roof will keep you dry if an errant rainstorm passes by.

A separate wee sun room is on the right – room enough for two to bask in the warmth of the sunset in cooler months. Inside the house a central hall from front door to back door splits the bedrooms and bath from the gathering rooms on the right.
